Plan Coverage

Medical Expenses

Our expatriate program covers major medical, expenses, emergency medical evacuation, accidental death and dismemberment, disability, life, and kidnap and ransom. The plan includes up to $5 million of Major Medical coverage, first dollar or excess of Provincial Government Healthcare Programs (PGHP).

Disability

coverage includes both Temporary Total Disability (TTD) of up to $15,000 per month (higher limits are available), and a lump sum benefit for Long Term Disability – either a flat benefit in an amount chosen, or calculated as the present value of monthly benefits to age 65. Unlike other plans, claimants are not required to return to Canada to collect disability benefits.

Travel Assistance Services

Emergency medical, health, and travel assistance services provided by AXA Assistance Canada. Security assistance and evacuation services are provided by iJET International with medical specialists (physicians & RNs) and multilingual assistance coordinators, global network provides access to local expertise, medical & dental referrals assistance worldwide.

Accidental Death

Accidental Death and Dismemberment provides benefits of up to $2,000,000 for covered losses.

Life

Life insurance is available up to $1,000,000

Kidnap and Ransom

Kidnap and Ransom coverage provides important protection for employees working in high risk regions around the world, or in commercially sensitive positions.
